Value Shop Customer Service Weekly Sharing Session
Story:
On Wednesday, we encountered a situation whereby a lady customer walked in with a handful of plastic bags and was just browsing through the products we ordered. We offered to carry her bags after greeting her with our usual “Good Morning!” and she gladly accepted. She was staring at a particular jacket in our shop. She stopped at the Ribstop Jacket which was designed in black with a red strip and tried on the jacket. Upon wearing at it, she looked into the mirror and asked us if it looked good and whether it fits her. After a moment, we told her that it looked nice on her and that the size fits her, she decided to buy our jacket.
Problem & Solution:
Hence, we made another sale by providing the extra service of carrying the bags to reduce the customer’s discomfort. Also, it made her hands free to browse through and hold products that she found interesting.
What we learnt:
Being willing to provide the extra service is important and you may never know who your customer is. :)
Have a nice day & Thank you for reading!
